NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARCTICA, TERÄSBETONI, KIUAS Members Perform Finnish Christmas Songs (Video)

December 21, 2010

RASKAS JOULU (Heavy Christmas) — a Finnish project which celebrates Christmas and its music tradition mixed with metal — completed its annual tour this past weekend with three shows at Tavastia in Helsinki. Two concerts were held on December 18 — an afternoon all-ages show and an evening performance. Because the evening concert was sold out weeks in advance, an additional gig was held on Sunday, December 19.

The following vocalists performed at the Tavastia gigs:

* Jarkko Ahola (TERÄSBETONI, NORTHERN KINGS)
* Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto (CHARON, HARMAJA, NORTHERN KINGS)
* Ari Koivunen (AMORAL)
* Antony Parviainen (MACHINE MEN)
* Ilja Jalkanen (KIUAS)
* Tommi "Tuple" Salmela (TAROT)
* Tony Kakko (SONATA ARCTICA, NORTHERN KINGS)
* Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH, TAROT, NORTHERN KINGS, SAPATTIVUOSI)

Musicians:

* Erkka Korhonen (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Guitar, Music Director
* Tuomas Wäinölä (TIMO KOTIPELTO) - Guitar
* Erkki Silvennoinen (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Bass
* Vili Ollila (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Keyboards
* Teijo "Twist-Twist" Erkinharju (LENINGRAD COWBOYS, LOS BASTARDOS FINLANDESES, PEER GÜNT) - Drums
