September 28, 2007

More fan-filmed video footage of NIGHTWISH's concert Wednesday night (September 26) at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland has surfaced and can be viewed below.

NIGHTWISH's performance in Helsinki took place in conjunction with a release party for the group's new album, "Dark Passion Play". The band took the stage under the guise of a NIGHTWISH cover act called NATUVISSYSET and played a similar set to the one performed on Saturday in Tallinn, Estonia, which marked the group's live debut with new singer Anette Olzon. Check out pictures from both gigs:

According to a posting on NIGHTWISH's web site, "Dark Passion Play" has already sold more than 42,000 copies in Finland, which is more than enough for it to be certified platinum (signifying sales in excess of 30,000 copies).
