NIGHTWISH: Australian Tour Dates Announced

Finnish/Swedish symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH have lined up the following Australian tour dates:

Jan. 27 - Perth, Metro Fremantle (18+)
Jan. 29 - Adelaide, HQ (All Ages)
Jan. 30 - Melbourne, Palais Theatre (All Ages)
Feb. 01 - Sydney, Enmore Theatre (All Ages)
Feb. 02 - Brisbane, The Tivoli (All Ages)

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, October 18 at 9:00 a.m.

As previously reported, the first date for NIGHTWISH's upcoming spring 2008 North American tour has been announced: May 22 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California. The band is also expected to perform at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 24. Additional dates will be announced in early November, including a very special show for Canadian fans.

NIGHTWISH's previously announced November 15, 2007 concert in Florida has been moved from House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista to Club Firestone in Orlando. Similarly, NIGHTWISH's November 6 concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California will now be taking place at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and EnterTheVault.com.

NIGHTWISH will make its "official" live debut with new singer Anette Olzon on October 6 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The group's U.S. tour kicks off on October 15 in West Springfield, Virginia.
