NEVERMORE Guitarist To Guest On New SINGLE BULLET THEORY Album

February 8, 2011

NEVERMORE guitarist Jeff Loomis has contributed a guest solo to the track "Auctioneer Of Souls" from SINGLE BULLET THEORY's forthcoming album, "IV", which will be released later this year via Eclipse Records.

According to a press release, "Auctioneer Of Souls" is "a blistering instrumental that will satisify even the most fickle of heavy metal guitar enthusiasts and ranks in at jst under 10 minutes of jaw-dropping shredding." It can be described as "[MEGADETH's] 'Hangar 18' meets [George Lynch's] 'Mr. Scary', but at 200 beats a minute."

"Auctioneer Of Souls" will feature guest appearances by the following musicians:

* Attila Voros (NEVERMORE)
* James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH)
* Tim Roth (INTO ETERNITY)
* Jeff Loomis (NEVERMORE)
* Curran Murphy (SHATTER MESSIAH, ANNIHILATOR, NEVERMORE)
* John Perez (SOLITUDE AETURNUS, ROTTING CHRIST)
* Rob Doherty (DIGITAL DOOMZDAY, INTO ETERNITY)
* Riggs (SCUM OF THE EARTH, ROB ZOMBIE)
* Mark Simpson (FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES)
* Jack Frost (SEVEN WITCHES, SAVATAGE, BRONX CASKET COMPANY)
* Pete Blakk (King DIAMOND, DISASTERPEACE)

SINGLE BULLET THEORY is putting the finishing touches on "IV", with guitarist John Ruszin III handling all of the production duties. This will be the band's first album to feature Ruszin as well as Brazilian drum sensation Acacio Carvalho.

Commented guitarist/vocalist Matt DiFabio: "I know every band talks about their next record always being their 'best' or 'heaviest.' However, I have never had the on tap, the talent that I have in the band now. I feel amazed and blessed every time I hear another final version of one of the new songs. This is very ambitious new dimension to the SINGLE BULLET THEORY sound and I have really had to step back from the songwriting process and consciously try to add a new dimension of my own!"

SINGLE BULLET THEORY is:

Matt DiFabio - Guitar, Vocals
Jeff Kalber - Bass
John Ruszin III - Lead Guitar, Programming
Acacio Carvalho - Drums
