NEURAXIS' SEGHERS Offering Online Guitar Lessons

March 10, 2009

Guitarist Will Seghers of Canadian death metallers NEURAXIS is giving online guitar lessons through France's Laguitare.com. In his first lesson, he outlines how to play some riffs from the band's latest album, "The Thin Line Between". Watch the clip at this location.

"Darkness Prevails", the latest video from NEURAXIS, can be viewed below. The clip was shot last fall with director Chris Alsop.

Commented NEURAXIS frontman Alex Leblanc: "Working with Chris for the video has been an amazing experience. He is very passionate about what he does and made us feel comfortable during the whole shoot. It was our first video so we decided to go for something simple, but added a little twist to it. We worked on the lighting to give it a special vibe, and the whole goal was basically to put a face to our music..."

Added director Chris Alsop: "The great thing about working with NEURAXIS was that these guys showed up, ready to go and were totally focused on making a wicked video. And that really comes through in the performance. It was a blast to work with them. As a director, it helps when the band understands the process of a production. I worked really closely with the band in coming up with a concept. The idea was to work off the title of the song, to really play up the blacks with slashes of red, very low key lighting, and then contrast that with a Sin City-inspired look which still retains that dark edge."

"Darkness Prevails" comes off NEURAXIS' latest album, "The Thin Line Between", which was released last July via Prosthetic Records. The CD was recorded by Jeff Fortin (ANONYMUS) and the band in February and March of 2008 and features guest vocals from Luc Lemay (GORGUTS). The album artwork was created by Dennis Sibejin (CHIMAIRA, JOB FOR A COWBOY).
