NEURAXIS: Orangevale Footage Available

December 16, 2008

Capital Chaos has posted video footage (see below) of NEURAXIS' November 21, 2008 performance at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California. Also on the bill were THE FACELESS, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, DECREPIT BIRTH and VEIL OF MAYA.

NEURAXIS recently shot the "Darkness Prevails" video from the band's most recent release, "The Thin Line Between", with director Chris Alsop.

Photos from the video shoot are available at this location.

Commented NEURAXIS frontman Alex Leblanc: "Working with Chris for the video has been an amazing experience. He is very passionate about what he does and made us feel comfortable during the whole shoot. It was our first video so we decided to go for something simple, but added a little twist to it. We worked on the lighting to give it a special vibe, and the whole goal was basically to put a face to our music..."

Added director Chris Alsop: "The great thing about working with NEURAXIS was that these guys showed up, ready to go and were totally focused on making a wicked video. And that really comes through in the performance. It was a blast to work with them. As a director, it helps when the band understands the process of a production. I worked really closely with the band in coming up with a concept. The idea was to work off the title of the song, to really play up the blacks with slashes of red, very low key lighting, and then contrast that with a Sin City-inspired look which still retains that dark edge."
