NECROPHOBIC, ENSIFERUM, EISREGEN: Photos From HELLFLAME Festival Available

September 24, 2007

Photos of NECROPHOBIC, ENSIFERUM and EISREGEN taken at the Hellflame Festival - The South Side of Hell — which was held this past Saturday, September 22 in Lichtenfels, Germany — have been posted at Metalpics.ch.

Acting on the the local police's recommendation to cancel the event, the city authorities — having the opinion that the festival would endanger the public safety — didn't make a final decision on whether they would allow the event to proceed until September 15, only one week before the festival date. As a result, the organizer wasn't able to book the flights for the bands on time and thus, in order not to endanger the whole festival, had to cancel the appearance of several acts, among those BENEDICTION, MASTER, ONSLAUGHT, WOLFBRIGADE and GRAVE.

For the organizer's complete statement (in German),go to this location.
