NECROPHAGIST Issues Post-Tour Update

July 16, 2007

German extreme metallers NECROPHAGIST — who recently completed the Summer Slaughter tour with CEPHALIC CARNAGE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ARSIS, AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, THE FACELESS, ION DISSONANCE and BENEATH THE MASSACRE — have issued the following post-tour update:

"The Summer Slaughter Tour lived up to its title and proved itself to really be 'the most extreme tour of the year.' NECROPHAGIST thanks all bands for their cooperation and all fans that came out to experience an overwhelming assault of extreme metal. You guys made this a huge success, with sold-out venues throughout the country... some of which Los Angeles, New York and San Diego, each breaking the 1,000 people-mark by far with BB King [in] New York selling out in advance! Thank you very much!

"To celebrate the end of a highly succesful tour in an appropiate way, Ibanez Guitars and NECROPHAGIST team up to offer a guitar giveaway. Ibanez built a Xiphos XPT700 with the Summer Slaughter finish, and if you want to call that guitar your own for free, simply sign up for the contest on Ibanez' website: www.ibanez.com, it will only take you a minute. Good luck!

"Meanwhile NECROPHAGIST will start writing the follow-up to 'Epitaph' and hopefully release it by Summer Slaughter 2008. See you there..."
