NASUM Announce New Lineup

Swedish grindcore merchants NASUM have been upgraded from a trio to a quartet. Replacing bassist Jesper Liveröd, who exited the band in order to pursue Kerry King-approved noise-mongers BURST, is Jon "Elle" Lindkvist (VICTIMS, SAYYADENA). Also joining the outfit is REGURGUTATE guitarist Urban Skytt.

The band the following to say about Jon: "Apart from having the exact same initials as Jesper (J.L.) and also auditioning in the exact same t-shirt design (NEUROSIS), Jon is all about grindcore. Playing guitar in the excellent SAYYADINA (and also playing in countless bands such as VICTIMS, ACCURSED, OUTLAST and probably a thousand more), he knows how to grind. Other than that he might not teach children how to worship Satan but how to wear a condom, since he works as a sex educator."

NASUM's most recent CD, "Helvete" (Swedish for "Hell"), was recorded at Sweden's Soundlab Studios and features guest appearances from Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH) and Jörgen Sandström (ENTOMBED, THE PROJECT HATE, ex-GRAVE).
