NAPALM DEATH will tentatively issue their latest album, entitled Order Of The Leech, in October through Snapper Music in Europe and Spitfire Records in the US, frontman Mark "Barney" Greenway has told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "The [deal] with Dreamcatcher [Records, who released the group's Enemy Of The Music Business CD in 2001] didn't really work out in the end," the singer offered.

Named after a line in the track "To Lower Yourself (Blind Servitude)" ("[not] my first choice of title, I have to admit, but the other guys picked that specific line out because they liked it," says Barney), Order Of The Leech will tentatively include the following track listing:

01. Narcoleptic
02. Lowest Common Denominator
03. The Icing On The Hate
04. Forced To Fear
05. Blows To The Body
06. Farce And Fiction
07. Per Capita
08. Continuing War On Stupidity
09. Forewarned Is Disarmed?
10. The Great Capitulator
11. Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind
12. To Lower Yourself (Blind Servitude)
13. Thaw (SEPTIC DEATH cover)
14. Terrorain (SEPTIC DEATH cover)

As previously reported, the drum tracks for the CD were completed at Parkgate Studios in Hastings, England (where Enemy Of The Music Business was recorded) and are currently holed up at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire with producer Simon Efemey mixing the album, despite the fact that Greenway still has "a couple of tracks of vocals to do," according to the frontman.

As to what people can expect to hear on the new album, Barney stated that "there are some progressive riffs, but it's fast and crazy. In my opinion, I think it's quite hardcore-flavored — like the classic abrasive stuff from DISCHARGE to FINAL CONFLICT, CRUCIFIX, etc. This is the stuff that we're best at, I reckon."
