NAPALM DEATH: Preparing For OBITUARY Tour

August 12, 2005

NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Sitting here on a rather grey afternoon in Birmingham [England], still recovering from last weeknd's festivals! Both shows in Sweden and the Ukraine were great but the traveling to the Ukraine was very tiring...

"Anyways, we have the Party.San festival [in Germany] this weeked, and will, of course, be meeting up with our friends CANIBAL CORPSE, so that's going to be fun. And well, it's not long to we head over to the States with OBITUARY. Time sure does move fast…

"The tickets for the show in Nottingham on the 21st are moving fast so we are all looking forward to a great all-dayer there. If you havent got your tickets yet, come on! It will be a good day out getting your ears blasted and you will get to check out some new local talent as well."

NAPALM DEATH are continuing to tour in support of their latest CD, "The Code is Red...Long Live the Code", which came out in April via Century Media Records.

"The Code Is Red… Long Live The Code" was recorded at Foel Studios with producer Russ Russell and features guest appearances by Jello Biafra (ex-DEAD KENNEDYS),Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Jeff Walker (ex-CARCASS).
