NAPALM DEATH Frontman Promises To Play 'New Album' Material On Upcoming Tour

October 21, 2005

Vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway of the British grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH has commented on the band's upcoming North American tour with German thrashers KREATOR. Starting in Royun-Norande, Qebec on February 21, the trek will traverse North America wrapping up at West Springfield, VA's Jaxx on March 25.

Commented Greenway, "I know a lot of people were disappointed that we only hit the East Coast last time out (with OBITUARY),but we promised we'd be back, so here we are. We were knocked out by how much people like the new album, so we'll be doing a nice selection of stuff for you guys from that. It'll be twice as fast of course, so keep your ears pinned back! See you there!"

NAPALM DEATH will set out across South America and Mexico next week before December's 11 European dates with the "Persistence Tour 2005" together with HATEBREED, AGNOSTIC FRONT and more.

NAPALM DEATH are continuing to tour in support of their latest CD, "The Code is Red...Long Live the Code", which came out in April via Century Media Records. The album was recorded at Foel Studios with producer Russ Russell and features guest appearances by Jello Biafra (ex-DEAD KENNEDYS),Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Jeff Walker (ex-CARCASS).
