MYSTIC PROPHECY To Perform 'Extraordinary' Show In Germany

September 19, 2006

MYSTIC PROPHECY, the melodic power metal band featuring VALLEY'S EVE vocalist Roberto Dimitri Liapakis, ex-STORMWITCH bassist Martin Albrecht and SACRED STEEL drummer Mathias Straub, has posted the following message on its official web site:

"MYSTIC PROPHECY will perform their last show this year in Germany at the Kaminwerk Memmingen on September 30th, 2006. This show will be something extraordinary. During the show there will be some specials, not only pyrotechnics or a huge screen but additionally the band will play songs which never have been performed on stage before.

"We will be supported by our brandnew labelmates UNREST from Bremen and TEMPESTA from Switzerland will open this evening.

"After our last show this year in Vienna, December 16th, 2006, we will vanish from the stages for a longer time. It is planned to enter the studio in February 2007 to record our new CD. Until now we do not have a working-title for it but some songs have been already written. Of course, we will try to keep you informed intensively during this period, so stay tuned!"

MYSTIC PROPHECY's latest album, "Savage Souls", was mixed and mastered at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden and features guest appearances by Chitral "Chity" Somapala (AVALON, FIREWIND) on backing vocals and Marios Iliopoulos (NIGHTRAGE) on lead guitar.
