MY RUIN: More 'Double Shot Of Rock' Tour Dates Announced

September 17, 2005

MY RUIN, the Los Angeles-based band fronted by ex-TURA SATANA singer Tairrie B., are preparing to head out on the road in support of their upcoming Rovena Recordings release, "The Brutal Language" (September 27). Rovena Recordings is the band's own label, which is marketed and distributed by 33rd Street Records/Bayside Entertainment Distribution.

After a successful first tour with MY RUIN, new bassist Chris Lisee and drummer Jason Brunk feel right at home and are looking forward to hitting the road again for Part II of the Jägermeister-sponsored tour at the end of the month.

"We just want to get out there and rock," said guitarist/songwriter Mick Murphy, who also produced the new record. "Chris and Jason are a great edition to the band and although they didn't record the new album with Tairrie and I, they help bring it to life live. It's great having them in the band and we're all really excited about the next few months."

"It's kinda crazy doing everything ourselves at the moment, but it feels amazing to know we are," said frontwoman Tairrie B. "I can't wait for people to hear the new record and see the band live for the first time."

The tour kicks off at the Whisky in Hollywood, California on September 23 as the band's record-release party. The group will be performing and early set at 10:00 p.m. and after their performance, will be signing the new record and posters for their friends and fans.
