UK doom metal band MY DYING BRIDE has posted photos of its recent performance at the Metal Rock Fest in Lillehammer, Norway at this location.

Austrian heavy 'zine Stormbringer.at conducted an interview with MY DYING BRIDE members Aaron Stainthorpe (vocals),Andrew Craighan (guitar) and Hamish Glencross (guitar) prior to the band's July 12, 2008 concert at the Masters Of Rock Festival in the Czech Republic. Watch the 12-minute chat below.

MY DYING BRIDE is currently recording its highly anticipated follow-up to 2006's "A Line of Deathless Kings" with longtime producer Mags. A late 2008 release via Peaceville Records is expected.

Check out photos from the recording sessions on the band's official web site.

MY DYING BRIDE recently announced the addition of keyboardist/violinist Katie Stone to the group's ranks.

Peaceville Records in April released MY DYING BRIDE's "An Ode to Woe", a two-disc live CD/DVD in digibook packaging. The show — which was originally streamed on the online concert channel Fabchannel.com — was filmed at the world-famous Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland, in April 2007. The legendary venue (previous performers include NICK CAVE, THE ROLLING STONES, NIRVANA and the SEX PISTOLS) provides the perfect setting for this special gig.

MY DYING BRIDE has been confirmed for the Damnation Festival 2008, set to take place Saturday, November 22 at England's Leeds University Union.
