April 27, 2011

A one-minute YouTube clip containing snippets of new songs from New Jersey-based metallers MUTINY WITHIN is available below.

MUTINY WITHIN was dropped by Roadrunner Records after releasing one album through the label. The group is currently seeking a new record company home.

MUTINY WITHIN recently announced a management deal with Adam Foster, along with Andy Farrow and Northern Music (OPETH, KATATONIA, PARADISE LOST).

Commented MUTINY WITHIN bassist Andrew "AJ" Jacobs: "For the past few months, underneath the snow, we've been writing and recording pre-production [for the band's second album]. The new material is sounding great, we're so excited for it. It's a fresh sound that takes things up a level; you won't be disappointed!"

MUTINY WITHIN last year parted ways with drummer Bill Fore and replaced him with "fellow Jerseyan" Chad Anthony.

The self-titled debut album from MUTINY WITHIN landed at position No. 41 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Mutiny Within" was released on February 23, 2010 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida with producer Jason Bieler (SIKTH, SKINDRED, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, NONPOINT) and was mixed by Jeff Rose and Martin "Ginge" Ford of Nott-In-Pill studios in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom.
