MUTINY WITHIN Parts Ways With ROADRUNNER RECORDS

February 10, 2011

New Jersey-based metallers MUTINY WITHIN have parted ways with Roadrunner Records after releasing one album through the label. The band is currently seeking a new record company home.

The self-titled debut album from MUTINY WITHIN landed at position No. 41 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Mutiny Within" was released on February 23, 2010 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida with producer Jason Bieler (SIKTH, SKINDRED, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, NONPOINT) and was mixed by Jeff Rose and Martin "Ginge" Ford of Nott-In-Pill studios in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom.

The initial sessions for the CD took place at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof, who has previously worked with ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID, TRIVIUM and DEVILDRIVER, among many others.

Fan-filmed video footage of MUTINY WITHIN performing a new song, "Embers", live for the first time on November 28, 2010 at Santos Party House in New York City can be viewed below.
