MUSTASCH: Swedish Signing Session Announced

November 12, 2008

Swedish hard rockers MUSTASCH will take part in a signing session at the new Media Markt store in Bäckebol, Gothenburg, Sweden on November 28 at 4:00 p.m. (16.00).

MUSTASCH will release a concert DVD, "In The Night", on November 28. The disc will feature the following:

* Live show from Trädgårn, Gothenburg
* "Double Nature" video
* "Parasite" video
* Backstage material
* Behind the scenes "Double Nature"

"In The Night" can be pre-ordered at this location.

MUSTASCH recently confirmed the addition of guitarist David Johannesson (ex-SPARZANZA) to the group's ranks.

David was MUSTASCH's stand-in guitar-player during the band's late summer shows and is now with the group full-time.

Commented guitarist/vocalist Ralf Gyllenhammar: "The time between Hannes [Hansson] quitting and David coming in has been chaotic. Finally it feels like we are a band again. David is the right guy and we believe we have done an excellent choice. He also shares our passion for intoxicating liquids."

David Johannesson added: "When Mustasch asked me to join the band I became very happy, but at the same time I was in the studio with my band SPARZANZA to record our next album. In the end the decision was obvious. I quit my day job the very same day I made my decision."

MUSTASCH was honored in "Best Hard Rock" category at Sweden's "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 9 at Globen in Stockholm. MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to MUSTASCH, who beat out such veterans acts as CANDLEMASS, ENTOMBED and CLAWFINGER for the honor.

MUSTASCH released a "best-of" album, entitled "Lowlife Highlight", in February through Regain Records. The CD features 18 songs from the band's back catalogue originally issued by EMI.

MUSTASCH recently inked a new deal with Regain Records for the group's follow-up to "Latest Version of the Truth", scheduled for a 2009 release.
