MUSTASCH was honored with the "Best Hard Rock" award at Sweden's "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 9 at Globen in Stockholm. MOTRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to MUSTASCH, who beat out such veterans acts as CANDLEMASS, ENTOMBED and CLAWFINGER for the honor.

MUSTASCH released a "best-of" album, entitled "Lowlife Highlight", in February through Regain Records. The CD features 18 songs from the band's back catalogue originally issued by EMI.

MUSTASCH recently inked a new deal with Regain Records for the group's follow-up to "Latest Version of the Truth", scheduled for a 2009 release.
