MUSTASCH Accepting 'Best Hard Rock' Award At Sweden's GRAMMIS; Video Available

Swedish hard rockers MUSTASCH were honored with the "Best Hard Rock" award at Sweden's "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 9 at Globen in Stockholm. MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to MUSTASCH, who beat out such veterans acts as CANDLEMASS, ENTOMBED and CLAWFINGER for the honor.

The bands were each been nominated for their most recent releases, all of which came out during 2007. The nominees were as follows:

MUSTASCH - Latest Version of the Truth
TAKIDA - Bury the Lies

As previously reported, MUSTASCH will release a "best-of" album, entitled "Lowlife Highlight", in late February 2008 through Regain Records. The CD will feature 18 songs from the band's back catalogue originally issued by EMI.

MUSTASCH recently inked a new deal with Regain Records for the group's follow-up to "Latest Version of the Truth", scheduled for a 2009 release.
