MUSTAINE: LIFE OF AGONY And MUSHROOMHEAD 'Likely Choices' For GIGANTOUR

May 24, 2005

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"I am nearing the end of the selection of my guests to entertain y'all this summer on the second stage.

"As far as I see it, the choices are down to just a few and the most likely to succeed are LIFE OF AGONY or MUSHROOMHEAD. There are some other contenders still but if the decision came down today, the aforementioned two are probably the finalists.

"Also, just because someone posts dates prior to them being up here or at the Gigantour site means nothing, especially when you consider the source in some instances. Not to sound like a snob, but it ain't official until it is up here or at Gigantour.com and anyone else is just guessing. (Pretty good guessers tho! )

"Busy, Busy, Busy!

"Oh yeah, we were approached about bringing Gigantour down to Australia yesterday, so keep yer fingers crossed all you Aussies, and contact the promoter who brought MEGS down earlier this year."
