June 22, 2009

MUSICA DIABLO guitarist Andre NM (also of NITROMINDS) was recently interviewed on the "Vulgar's Pit" show on Wildlife Radio. The program is now available for streaming at this location.

MUSICA DIABLO is the São Paulo, Brazil-based thrash metal project featuring SEPULTURA singer Derrick Green, Andre NM, drummer Marcão (AÇÃO DIRETA, DEAD FISH) and bassist Ricardo Brigas.

MUSICA DIABLO will embark on a European tour in November. Derrick will have some time off from SEPULTURA and André will already be in Europe promoting the latest NITROMINDS album, "The Verge of Time" (Century Media Brazil). Support on the trek will come from CHAINFIST, the new metal/rock band featuring Michael Kopietz (ex-FROZEN SUN, PANZERCHRIST).

Commented André: "We are planning to perform a couple of songs from bands that inspired us [over the] years, but one thing is for sure; apart from MUSICA DIABLO's own songs, we will play classic trash metal tunes from the '80s!"

The list of cover songs that are being considered for inclusion in the band's set are is as follows:

* EXODUS - Bonded By Blood
* TESTAMENT - Over The Wall
* SACRED REICH - Surf Nicaragua
* KREATOR - Betrayer
* SLAYER - Jesus Saves
* ANTHRAX - Caught In A Mosh
* METALLICA - Fight Fire With Fire

MUSICA DIABLO's European tour will be booked by the Go Down Believing agency, which also handles such artists as PRO-PAIN, HATESPHERE, ILLDISPOSED etc.

The new MUSICA DIABLO song "Work Out" can be streamed on the band's MySpace page. It can also be heard using the ReverbNation TuneWidget below.

"Work Out" is one of 16 new cuts that MUSICA DIABLO recently demoed so that they can be shopped to European labels by the group's new manager, Tommy Morriello of Crash Bang Booking & Management.
