MURDERDOLLS Dress Up In Drag For Intimate London Gig

MURDERDOLLS, the new band featuring SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison on guitar, singer Wednesday 13 (formerly of North Carolina horror-metal outfit FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS FROM PLANET 13), ex-DOPE guitarist Acey Slade, bassist Erik Griffin, and drummer Ben Graves, played an intimate set at top London burlesque club Madam Jo Jo's Monday night (June 2)... in drag, according to Metal Hammer.

The band came on stage at midnight and Wednesday 13 announced to the sold out 180-person capacity crowd: "We've been sitting around drinking all day so we thought we'd get dressed up like a bunch of hot chicks!"

Wednesday was dressed up as a naughty nurse, sporting a black leather skirt, mummy bandage tights and a bright pink wig, while Joey Jordison was sporting a rather fetching green dress, a sexy orange wig and stocking and suspenders.

The MURDERDOLLS took the opportunity to unveil new material from their as-yet-untitled forthcoming studio album as well as their new single "White Wedding".

The set list was as follows:

01. Murder Pie
02. Kill Ms. America
03. Die My Bride
04. Dressed To Depress
05. Twist My Sister
06. Slit My Wrist
07. Love At 1st Fright
08. The Devil Made Me Do It
09. People Hate Me
10. Let's Fuck
11. White Wedding (BILLY IDOL cover)
12. Devil's Whore House (MISFITS cover)
13. 197666
14. I Love To Say Fuck
15. Dead In Hollywood

"Celebrity" guests included SOIL's Tim King and Shaun Glass, AMEN frontman Casey Chaos and Mortiis. PRODIGY/FLINT vocalist Keith Flint left with a lady friend shortly before the band came on stage.
