MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT To Release New EP

April 15, 2010

Ohio's metalgaze magicians MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT break the silence in their release schedule since 2008's critically acclaimed full-length, "Quietly", with a monstrous new EP entitled "The Violence Beneath".

To be released on April 27, the four tracks on this behemoth mini-release encompass over 32 minutes of patented MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT intensity. The band brings a slightly more metallic approach to some of the material, yet still bridges its cavernous buildups with beautiful, spiritual passages.

"The Violence Beneath" is a multi-faced yet cohesive release, showcasing the band forging new paths artistically, and packs enough punch to tide us over until the next full-length.

"The Violence Beneath" track listing:

01. The Violence Beneath
02. Buried Hopes
03. Restore
04. In Your Eyes

The opening/title track, "The Violence Beneath", is available for streaming at this location.

MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT has toured alongside MASTODON, THE SWORD, THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES, UNSANE, TODAY IS THE DAY, INTRONAUT and countless more over the years, and touring will fill much of its schedule this year in support of the release. The band will begin a month-long European tour this week, which includes stops at Poland's Asymmetry festival as well as the almighty Roadburn in Holland.
