MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD, POISON, JOAN JETT Is 'Fastest Sellout In Miller Park History'

December 14, 2019

"The Stadium Tour" concert scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin quickly became the fastest sellout in the venue's history after tickets for the trek went on sale Friday morning (December 13) at 10 a.m. (According to Fox Sports, Miller Park's capacity is 42,000.) Set to take place next summer, "The Stadium Tour" features co-headliners MÖTLEY CRÜE and DEF LEPPARD, along with POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS.

Produced by Live Nation and FPC Live, the concert is part of a 22-stop stadium tour visiting the country's most iconic stadiums.

"We're pleased to welcome 'The Stadium Tour' to Miller Park," said Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger in a news release. "This promises to be an unforgettable show headlined by four of the most successful bands in rock."

Tickets are still available for resale on web sites including Ticketmaster and StubHub.

Several of the shows on "The Stadium Tour" continue to take over the best-selling events, according to Ticket Club sales data.

"The Stadium Tour" kicks off July 7 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and winds down on September 5 at Los Angeles's SoFi Stadium.

The trek marks CRÜE's first live dates since wrapping its 2014/2015 "farewell" tour. The band toured with POISON back in 2011 and DEF LEPPARD teamed up with POISON for a string of road dates in 2017 — but the upcoming jaunt marks the first time all four acts have hit the road together for an extended tour.

CRÜE fans who shelled out for the band's last tour were led to believe that the group would never return after playing its final show on December 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band touted the signing of a pre-tour "cessation of touring" agreement as cementing the fact it truly was the end of CRÜE's life on the road.
