MOTH EATER To Enter Studio This Month

June 4, 2009

MOTH EATER, the Beers Village, New York-based metal/doom band featuring guitarist John Conley of SCAR CULTURE, Dave Ardolina and Buckshot of DIRTY RIG, and vocalist John Alaia, will make its live debut on Friday, June 5 at the Ace Of Clubs in New York City at 10:00 p.m. Also appearing on the bill are GODS GREEN EARTH, ANGELO DIABLO (featuring members of New York hardcore band IRATE) and BEHIND THE BULLET.

MOTH EATER will enter the studio at the end of June to record its debut CD for a late summer release.

Since putting up three preview demo tracks on the band's MySpace page, MOTH EATER has been averaging almost a 1000 plays a day. These songs were written and recorded in the group's first eight rehearsals.

MOTH EATER has been documenting each of its rehearsals and has just posted a new three-minute "pre-rehearsal intoxicated video" (see below) titled "The Writing Sessions: Part II - Moth Eater Parking Lot".
