MOTÖRHEAD Joined By Former Guitarist WURZEL At London Concert

During last night's (Nov. 27) MOTÖRHEAD show at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo in London, ex-guitarist Wurzel joined the band for a live rendition of the set closer "Overkill".

Wurzel was a member of MOTÖRHEAD from 1984's "No Remorse" LP to 1995's "Sacrifice".

MOTÖRHEAD are in the middle of a European tour with Brazilian thrashers SEPULTURA. A U.S. trek is expected to kick off in March 2005. The group's frontman, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, is planning on releasing a solo album next year featuring contributions from SKEW SISKIN, REVEREND HORTON HEAT, Dave Grohl (PROBOT, FOO FIGHTERS, ex-NIRVANA) and THE DAMNED.
