MORTAL SIN Announce New Drummer, Guitarist

April 6, 2005

Reactivated Australian thrashers MORTAL SIN have parted ways with drummer Wayne Campbell and guitarist Joe Buttigieg. The group have already secured replacements in the shape of Luke Cook (drums) and Nathan Shae (guitar).

As previously reported, MORTAL SIN will be supporting ANTHRAX on their upcoming Australian tour in May. The group have uploaded three brand new demo songs at their official web site. The tracks "Out of the Darkness", "Lost Within" and "Rise or Fall" were recorded at Party Pig Studios in Sydney and mark the first time the band had recorded any new material since 1996.

MORTAL SIN's new album, "Far from Extinction", is tentatively due later in the year via an as-yet-undetermined label.
