MORS PRINCIPIUM: New Album Title Announced

September 3, 2006

Finnish melodic death/thrash metallers MORS PRINCIPIUM EST have set "Liberation = Termination" as the title of their third album, tentatively due in early 2007 via Listenable Records.

"Here we are, in Astia Studio [in Finland]," stated vocalist Ville Viljanen. "We have been here for over a week now and we finished the vocal recordings yesterday. Everything else had been done before that, so now the only thing we have left is the finishing mix. Probably tomorrow (August 30),we will have the first song completely ready. We cannot wait to hear how it will sound. We know it will sound good, but nobody knows how good.

"The time here in studio has gone fast and it's been a lot of fun. Our recording dude Anssi Kippo is a really great guy! On our 'free' time we have been watching the Discovery channel and 'tasted' some beer."

The mastering of the new MORS PRINCIPIUM EST album will take place later this month at Helsinki's Finnvox studios.

MORS PRINCIPIUM EST's debut album, "Inhumanity", was reissued in February through Listenable with completely new artwork and with three bonus songs. The band's most recent CD, "The Unborn" was recorded at Tico Tico studio (SONATA ARCTICA, SENTENCED, FOR MY PAIN…, ALTARIA) in Kemi, Finland. The album cover was designed by Mattias Norèn.
