MORIAN Begins Recording New Album

November 24, 2006

Finnish band MORIAN has entered the studio with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (H.I.M., APOCALYPTICA, SENTENCED, etc.) to begin recording its full-length debut, tentatively due next spring via Dynamic Arts Records.

Commented MORIAN vocalist Janne Siekkinen: "Things are looking very bright for MORIAN right now; thanks to our collaboration with Dynamic Arts our music can finally reach fans all around the world in a way it's really supposed to. After all those countless hours of practicing, songwriting and searching for that true 'MORIAN sound,' here we stand. And we're ready to roll. Besides, now with a professional collaboration partner we have more time to concentrate on the more crucial things in MORIAN — like developing new practical jokes to use on drunken, passed-out band members."

MORIAN's last release was the "Firewalkers" four-song promotional CD. The EP's title cut can be downloaded from the band's official web site.
