MONSTROSITY To Headline Mexico's HEAVY METAL CIRCUS Festival

November 14, 2009

The Florida death machine known as MONSTROSITY has been confirmed as the headliner for the second annual Heavy Metal Circus festival, scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Circo Valador in Mexico City. Also appearing on the bill are MALEVOLENT CREATION, BELPHEGOR, BLOOD RED THRONE, SETHERIAL, RAGNAROK, and more.

MONSTROSITY founder/drummer Lee Harrison commented: "We have always had a strong bond with the Mexico City crowds. The fans there have always shown great support for us, whether it was our first show in Mexico City when George Corpsegrinder was still with us and we opened for OVERKILL, the full Mexican tour we did in 2002, all the way through to the last time we played with MARDUK. The crowds always make these shows insane and ultimately the most memorable."

MONSTROSITY is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Spiritual Apocalypse", which was released in Europe on Metal Blade Records and in the U.S. through Conquest Music Inc. The album has received great reviews and is widely considered to be the group's strongest effort to date. Tracks like "Firestorm", "Remnants Of Divination", and the title track, "Spiritual Apocalypse", prove MONSTROSITY has truly risen to another level in a genre largely thought to have reached its creative peak years ago.

Regarding the status of the songwriting sessions for MONSTROSITY's next album, Harrison said, "We are just now starting to really concentrate on writing again. We've got a bunch of new ideas so I feel the album will come together pretty quickly."

MONSTROSITY is:

Mike Hrubovcak - Vocals
Lee Harrison - Drums
Mark English - Guitar
Mike Poggione - Bass
Sam Molina - Guitar
