MONSTER MAGNET Announce European Festival Appearances

June 22, 2003

MONSTER MAGNET have announced the following European festival appearances during August:

Aug. 28 – Wiessen, AUT @ Two Days A Week Festival
Aug. 30 – Piramasenes, GER @ Rock im Wald Festival
Aug. 31 – Weeze, GER @ Terremoto Festival

As previously reported, MONSTER MAGNET have tapped Joe Barresi (LIMP BIZKIT, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, KYUSS) to co-produce their next studio album, tentatively titled "Radiation Day", for an early 2004 European release through SPV/Steamhammer Records.

The band, who have yet to secure a North American deal following their split with A&M Records early last year, will enter a Los Angeles studio in August to begin recording the effort, the group's first with new members Jim Baglino (bass, LORD STERLING) and Micheal Wildwood (drums, ex-CHROME LOCUST). Among the tracks set to appear on the CD are "Master Of Light", "On the Verge", "Slut Machine Mach 2", "Ultimate Everything" and "Little Bag Of Gloom". The band will also be the subject of a "greatest hits" album, to be issued through their previous label Interscope Records (formerly A&M) in Europe this summer. The two-CD set will include b-sides, videos and a re-mix of "Spacelord".
