MNEMIC Guitarist On Opening For METALLICA: 'It Was The Best Show Ever!'

July 17, 2007

Danish metallers MNEMIC opened for METALLICA on July 13 in Århus, Denmark. Also appearing on the bill was VOLBEAT.

Commented MNEMIC guitarist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie: "It was the best fucking show ever!!!! Everything was simply smooth that day!! Check out the pictures!! And guess what?! The next day in the paper we read an interview conducted with [James] Hetfield who simply said that he was a fan of MNEMIC and he had to check us out, plus said we have written some fantastic songs — that's what it said in the Danish national newspaper!!!! Fuckin' unbelievable!!! Also Lars [Ulrich] said that [Kirk] Hammett arrived at their studio one time with the MNEMIC album (I don't know which one he was referring to) and said it all blew them away. They were really cool and they came to us, and introduced themselves and so on... it was simply too crazy!!!"

MNEMIC also completed a video for "Meaningless" with Revolver Film director Patric Ullaeus. Watch the clip online at this location.
