MNEMIC: 'Diesel Uterus' Video Released

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC recently teamed up with Swedish director Patric Ullaeus of the Revolver Film Company AB (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL) to film a video for the band's new single, "Diesel Uterus", from their brand new album, "Sons Of The System".

The final clip as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot can be viewed below.

Commented guitarist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie: "We brought our robots to Sweden, and Patric produced again a video that goes beyond any expectation! We are definitely and extremely happy with the outcome, and we hope that you will enjoy our ugly mugs as much as we did, when we first saw the video."
Added drummer Brian Rasmussen: "Nice to see we are having fun instead of looking serious and evil all the time... Cool video!!"

"Sons Of The System", the fourth studio album from MNEMIC, sold around 600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 64 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Sons Of The System" was released in Europe on January 15 and in North America on January 26 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at MNEMIC's own studio and at the Antfarm facility in Aarhus, Denmark with Danish producer Tue Madsen (HALFORD, BEHEMOTH, KATAKLYSM, THE HAUNTED), who previously helmed the group's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" (2003) and "The Audio Injected Soul" (2004) CDs.
