MISFITS: Drummer ROBO Returns To The Fold

May 17, 2005

The following update has been posted on MISFITS' official web site:

"TONS of dates have been announced for the MISFITS summer tour! Jerry, Dez and... Robo will make a few select stops in the U.S. (including Alaska, and Cleveland) prior to embarking on a full tour of Europe where they will be performing at venues and large festivals throughout Spain, Germany, France, Austria, the U.K. and more this June through July 2005.

"As most of you know, Robo's participation as drummer in the band dates back to the old-school FITS. His debut recording with the legendary horror-punks was 'Earth AD', which is considered one of their most well-known, aggressive and influential, classic-era albums. Prior to joining the MISFITS, Robo was already widely acknowledged for his role as drummer in another pioneering hardcore/punk band, BLACK FLAG."

Robo comments: "It's great to be back, I'm really looking forward to the tour." Adds Jerry Only: "Rehearsals have been intense! It's been like old times seeing Robo behind the spiked kit. We're pumped and ready to shred audiences around the world."

"You can expect more of the harder, thrashier sound of the MISFITS within the set as well as a few BLACK FLAG classics LIVE on the MISFITS summer tour. If you have the chance to be there, do not miss these shows, fiends..."
