MINISTRY Bassist PAUL RAVEN Discusses His Work in KILLING JOKE, PIGFACE

October 22, 2006

An excerpt from an extensive interview with current MINISTRY/former KILLING JOKE bassist Paul Raven, conducted by music writer Joel Gausten, is now available online at www.myspace.com/gaustenbooks.

Gausten interviewed Raven as part of his upcoming book, titled "Albums that (Should've) Changed the World". The book will include a detailed history of KILLING JOKE, with special emphasis placed on their 1990 album "Extremities, Dirt & Various Repressed Emotions". In addition to Raven, the KILLING JOKE chapter will include commentary from singer/keyboardist Jaz Coleman and past members Ted Parsons, Martin Atkins and Troy Gregory. The book will also feature exclusive interviews with past/present members of KISS, BLACK SABBATH, AEROSMITH, THIN LIZZY, PRONG, DANZIG, SAMHAIN, MISFITS, PLASMATICS, RAMONES and many others.

Joel Gausten is the former managing editor of Liner Notes magazine. A longtime musician, he has worked with a number of artists, including PIGFACE and ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN. "Albums that (Should've) Changed the World" is slated for an August 2007 release.
