MINISTRY Bassist Launches Side Project
PINK ANVIL, the new project featuring MINISTRY bassist Paul Barker, have inked a deal with Mike Patton's Ipecac Records. The group's debut album is expected to surface early next year.
PINK ANVIL will debut some of the material from the upcoming CD at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Dec. 31 as part of a two-night Ipecac "festival" at the venue. Other artists scheduled to appear at the event include THE MELVINS with special guest Jello Biafra (formerly of the DEAD KENNEDYS), MALDOROR (a collaboration between Patton and MERZBOW mastermind Masami Akita), and MONDO GENERATOR (featuring Nick Oliveri of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE).
