MIKE MUIR And ROCKY GEORGE Perform Together For First Time In 13 Years; Photos Available

Vocalist Mike Muir (SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, INFECTIOUS GROOVES) and guitarist Rocky George (FISHBONE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES) were reunited this past weekend during INFECTIOUS GROOVES' set in Paris, France, where they shared the stage for the first time in 13 years on a rendition of ST's "Subliminal". Two photos from Saturday's (April 26) concert which also featured an appearance by Rocky's current band FISHBONE can be found below (pictures by Tobias Hall):

INFECTIOUS GROOVES' April 26 concert was reportedly filmed for an upcoming DVD.

The band recently announced the addition of guitarist Tim Stewart and drummer Eric Moore to the group's ranks.

INFECTIOUS GROOVES' current lineup is as follows:

Mike Muir - Vocals
Dean Pleasants - Guitar
Tim Stewart - Guitar
Steve Brunner - Bass
Eric Moore - Drums

INFECTIOUS GROOVES was formed soon after Robert Trujillo joined SUICIDAL TENDENCIES in 1989. Mike Muir and Trujillo got together with a few friends and started writing songs centered more around the bass, but with the intent of giving everyone else a whole lot of freedom.

"SEX PISTOLS and PARLIAMENT were my two favorite bands when I was young," says Muir. "People think they are completely different but I saw a lot of similarities, even if musically they were categorized as completely different styles. There's something beautiful about breaking rules that never should have been made."
