MICHAEL SCHENKER: UK Dates Announced

According to a posting on the Michael Schenker News and Tour Information web site, SeeTicket.com has announced the following UK dates for the legendary German guitarist Michael Schenker:

Billed as MICHAEL SCHENKER & FRIENDS:

Jan. 10 - Swindon, UK - 12 Bar Swindon
Feb. 17 - Bristol, UK - Thekla

Billed as MSG (MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP);

Feb. 09 - Manchester, UK - Manchester University

Michael Schenker posted a message on his web site last month claiming that he was about to begin work on a new MSG (MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP) studio album featuring "great, well-known musicians (the choices are fantastic),followed up by a world tour."

Schenker is also offering guitar lessons in the London, UK area. These lessons can ONLY be booked through:

Michael Schenker's UK tour this past summer was cut short due to a "multitude of events beyond the band's control, including Michael's," according to a posting on Schenker's MySpace page.

Schenker's final gig in the UK took place on August 3 in Stourbridge, U.K. when Michael ended up calling off the concert after only a handful of songs.
