MICHAEL SCHENKER Says He Will Utilize Three Singers On MSG's U.K. Tour

November 16, 2004

According to the Michael Schenker News and Tour Information web site, guitarist Michael Schenker has released the following statement regarding the status of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's current European tour in the wake of singer Chris Logan's departure from the trek:

"Everything is fine. Leif [Sundin, ex-GREAT KING RAT] is doing a great job. Gianni [singer of PURE INC., opening act for the tour] is helping on 'Let It Roll' and 'Ready To Rock'. He is doing a great job too. I am planing to have three singers in England: Leif, Gary [Barden] and Jari, who is currently working on the 25 years of MSG celebration album titled 'Tales of Rock'n Roll'."

In other news, Logan has offered more information about the physical altercation that took place between him and a member of the group's touring entourage, which led to his departure from the trek last Sunday (Nov. 14). Although Chris says that he does not wish to publicly name his attacker, he wants to make it categorically clear that Michael had nothing whatsoever to do with the incident.

It has been confirmed that MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's Nov. 15 show in Gothenbug, Sweden took place as scheduled, with Sundin handling the vocals.
