MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP: North American Tour Postponed

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP guitarist/keyboardist Wayne Findlay has issued the following update:

"We are very sorry to announce that due to a delay in visa processing, the final step in receiving the necessary paperwork required for Michael Schenker to enter North America was stalled. This will cause the MSG 'In The Midst Of Beauty USA/Canada Tour' to be postponed until June-July."

Tickets for original dates will be honored at the rescheduled shows, the first of which are as follows:

Jun. 20 - San Antonio, TX - Camargo Park
Jun. 21 - Austin, TX - Aces
Jun. 24 - New York, NY - Blender Theater At Gramercy
Jun. 25 - Springfield, VA - Jaxx
Jun. 30 - Sauget, IL - Pops
Jul. 03 - Concord, CA - Vinnie’s
Jul. 04 - Fairfax, CA - 19 Broadway
Jul. 07 - Victoria, BC - Element
Jul. 08 - Seattle, Wa Studio 7
Jul. 10 - Redondo Beach, CA - Brixton
Jul. 11 - Santa Ana, CA - Galaxy Theater

More dates will be added in the coming days, including additional cities/venues and festival appearances.

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's latest album, "In The Midst Of Beauty", was released on May 13, 2008 via Inakustic GMBH. The CD features returning MSG singer Gary Barden, drummer Simon Philips (THE WHO, TOTO),bassist Neil Murray (BLACK SABBATH, WHITESNAKE) and keyboardist Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE).
