T-Rex conducted an interview with guitarist Michael Angelo Batio (NITRO) at the Musikmesse Frankfurt 2009 fair, which was held April 1-4 in Frankfurt, Germany. Watch the two-and-a-half-minute chat below.

Michael is currently putting the finishing touches on his new solo CD, to be released this summer. Tentatively titled "Hands Without Shadows 2", it is said to be an all-vocal CD with plenty of Batio's signature, virtuoso guitar solos. Special guests on "HWS 2" include Mark Tremonti (CREED, ALTER BRIDGE), Vinnie Moore (UFO), George Bellas, Bill Peck and David Shankle (MANOWAR). Michael will also release a new DVD this year titled "Speed Lives 3" featuring his song "The Finish Line". This is a Metal Method production, featuring Doug Marks as the director and producer. Sarah Spisak will again be transcribing, notating the booklet and creating the scorch files.
