KillZone Records has announced the signing of MEYVN from Austin, Texas. The band's debut album, "Splintered Skies", is due in September.

According to a press release, "MEYVN delivers soaring, epic melodies and dazzling rhythms that are fluid and complex. The music has already earned them favorable comparisons to DREAM THEATER, WATCHTOWER and SYMPHONY X, combined with the brawn of such bands as METALLICA, MEGADETH, and fellow Texans PANTERA, delivering metal music that is truly inspirational."

MEYVN have built a fan base both at home in Texas and internationally in Greece, Germany and the Far East. With their first self release, the "Last Rites" EP, MEYVN were voted "The Best Band in Austin 2005" by readers of The Edge magazine, sweeping the board in nearly every category that they were nominated in.

The KillZone version of "Splintered Skies" will contain new artwork and a bonus track.
