METALLICA: The World's Smelliest Band?

May 21, 2004

METALLICA have been awarded the dubious title of the world's smelliest band by Swedish showbiz expert Mikael Jagerbrand. The Swedish tabloid writer ranked the top ten smelly stars for the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, basing it on interviews in the press where other celebrities talked about their co-stars' hygiene.

METALLICA came in ninth overall, with Hollywood "hunk" Brad Pitt taking the top spot. The complete Top Ten Smelly Celebrities list is as follows:

01. Brad Pitt
02. Russell Crowe
03. Hayden Christensen
04. David Bowie
05. Courtney Cox
06. Robin Williams
07. Christina Aguilera
08. Cameron Diaz
09. METALLICA
10. Bob Dylan
