METALLICA's TRUJILLO Donates Money To ANGRY AMPUTEES Bassist

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that METALLICA's Robert Trujillo is one of the people that donated money and gifts to THE ANGRY AMPUTEES bassist John Dalton, who is scheduled to undergo a rare form of heart surgery at Stanford Hospital.

As the bass player with no legs or fingers, Dalton has never been one to dwell on his medical woes or ballooning hospital bills. There's too much life to live. The 30-year-old San Franciscan with leaky heart valves is getting married next year to a cute, smart woman who has literally carried him across Italy on her back. He plays for a band that S.F. Weekly named the best punk band in San Francisco for 2002: THE ANGRY AMPUTEES (although he's the only amputee). Read more.
