On Friday, October 6, METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich will be joining other San Francisco musicians to kick-off Litquake, a non-profit literary festival encompassing nine days of reading and performances. Along with Ray Manzarek, Chuck Prophet, Mark Eitzel and many others, Lars will be paying tribute to books that have inspired musicians by doing a reading from one of his favorites. The event will be held at the Regency Center in San Francisco, begins at 8:00 p.m., and is being hosted by legendary writer and radio personality Ben Fong Torres.
