METALLICA's Bridge School Benefit Performance To Be Made Available For Download

METALLICA has announced that it will record its upcoming performances at the the 21st annual Bridge School Benefit on October 27-28 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California and make them available for download via LiveMetallica.com. "It's an acoustic show that Neil Young puts together each year in the Bay Area, and this is the second time for us," says the band. "And all proceeds from the sale of downloads from these two shows will go to the Bridge School."

Other artists scheduled to appear are the 21st annual Bridge School Benefit include Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Vedder with Flea and Jack Irons, Tom Waits with the KRONOS QUARTET, John Mayer, Tegan & Sara and Regina Spektor.

Tickets for $39.50-$150 are available at www.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com, (408) 998-8497 and at all Ticketmaster outlets. There is a two-ticket limit for reserved seats and an eight-ticket total purchase limit for these shows, which benefit the Bridge School, a program for children with severe speech and physical impairments co-founded by host Neil Young's wife, Pegi.
