METALLICA's Back Catalog Doing Brisk Business
METALLICA's back catalog is continuing to sell at a pace that far exceeds that of most of their counterparts, with four of the group's albums receiving multi-platinum certifications from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) last month.
The following are the latest METALLICA releases to get certified:
"…And Justice For All" (1988) 8x Platinum
"Load" (1996) 5x Platinum
"Master of Puppets" (1986) 6x Platinum
"Metallica" (1991) 13x Platinum
In other certifications, LED ZEPPELIN's "How The West Was Won" and CHEVELLE's "What's Next" have both been certified platinum for shipments of one million copies in the U.S.
