METALLICA Play Surprise Show In California Parking Lot!

METALLICA performed a short set this afternoon on a flatbed truck in the parking lot of the Network Coliseum in Oakland, California (the site of the much-anticipated Raiders/Titans game). Pictures and video will be posted on the group's official web site later tonight.

The surprise performance, which featured producer Bob Rock on bass alongside guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist Kirk Hammett, included renditions of the following songs:

05. Seek & Destroy
06. Battery
