METALLICA Garner Three CALIFORNIA MUSIC AWARDS Nominations

METALLICA have garnered three nominations at this year's California Music Awards, which are scheduled to be held June 6 from noon-6 p.m. at the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza in front of Oakland City Hall.

The San Francisco-based heavy metal band are nominated for outstanding hard rock album ("St. Anger"),best guitarist (Kirk Hammett) and best drummer (Lars Ulrich).

To vote for your favorite artists, click here. Voters can also pick up ballots at Northern California Safeway stores after May 5. The deadline for voting is June 1.
